A sock blank is a skein which has been machine knitted first into a long, unfinished scarf so that sections can be handpainted in different sizes and colours. This allows an effect to be painted across the whole skein, without a repeat.
This blank is perfect for crocheting centre out wraps or shawls, where the rows increase in length as the project grows.
You will receive the blank in its knitted form, which you unravel as you work. Kinks in the yarn will relax once washed and blocked.
*Please note, the blank is not a finished piece! It is a craft supply to be reknitted or crocheted into a new piece.
A short section of waste yarn may be present at each end. Simply unravel and discard as you get to it.
Hand wash recommended to preserve clarity of colour.
